Monday August 3rd. Opening Day for P.A.M.W.W
"BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE"
PERFORMING ARTS MENTORING WOODSHED WORKSHOP SERIES.
Sessions are from 3 - 8pm and are for both instrumentalist and vocalist.
Workshop topics include...
=> Fundamental Reading Skills
=> Fundamental Ear Training for all musicians
=> Keyboarding concepts for all musicians
=> Chord/Scale construction and application to progressions.
=> Live "Cutting Sessions" where musicians blend creativity, theory, technique, spirit, and stage presence.

=> Production techniques for Reason
=> Music Transcription Made Easy
=> Composition and arranging techniques for rhythm section and orchestra.
=> Marketing your music over the internet.

Condolences for the Jackson Family
We pray for peace and comfort for the family of Michael Jackson. Michael not only was a phenomenal entertainer but was also one of our most appreciated philanthropist. Michael will always be remembered for his generous contributions to end human suffering.
In commemoration of what Michael gave to society, on Friday July 10th the JAZZ KIDS will be performing a Michael Jackson Tribute at Bert's Warehouse Theatre 2739 Russell in the Eastern Market area. Come listen or perform!
Music Instrument Donations
We are currently accepting donations of musical instruments and portable keyboards to be used to provide instruments for students unable to purchase their own. Please call 313.683.6200 to schedule pickup.
